As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of patients, identifying their mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Delivering psychotherapy services using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and best practices, ensuring all patient information is secure and accessible only to authorized personnel.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for our clients.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance therapeutic outcomes and share best practices.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Staying current on the latest research and advancements in the field to continuously improve clinical skills and treatment methodologies.

Your role will primarily focus on a diverse array of patients, including those coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. The detox center setting requires a sensitive approach to mental health, emphasizing empathy and understanding for individuals navigating complex psychological and emotional landscapes. Each client’s unique experiences will guide your treatment strategies, ensuring that the care provided is relevant and effective.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LICSW license to practice in Washington State.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, specifically in providing psychotherapy services.
• Strong understanding and proficiency in solution-focused interventions and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills, essential for adapting treatment plans as needed.
• A capacity for teamwork, participating actively in collaborative care approaches.

• Experience in remote therapy or telehealth services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with addiction and recovery processes, preferably in a detox or rehabilitation environment.
• Background working with diverse populations and cultural competence in addressing varied mental health challenges.
