Job description

Overview
The Lead Operations Support Specialist (Lead OSS) is responsible for onboarding, training and mentoring Operations Support Specialists (OSSs) across the district. The Lead OSS will lead onboarding training for cohorts which may include multiple OSSs at one time. The Lead OSS will also travel to multiple clinics to train other OSSs as needed. Other responsibilities for this role include assisting with other projects throughout the district and/or region as needed. Must be mobile in market.
Responsibilities
• Train new OSSs on patient care support such as exercises, patient scheduling, patient intake and co-pay collection. Train on reporting requirements and clinic cleanliness protocols.
• Mentor OSSs and be go-to support in district for questions with patient processes and patient support. Train OSSs on new processes and workflows, and re-train OSSs as directed by the Clinic Director or District Director.
• Collaborate with Clinic Directors to Coordinate district rehab staffing assignments to meet labor needs.
• Perform OSS duties in the clinic as needed
• Assist in district or regional projects as needed
Qualifications
**You must be 18+ years old to apply**
Minimum Education
Required:
• High school diploma or GED
Preferred:
• Associate's degree in Health care or core sciences
Minimum Experience
Required:
• 2 or more years as a PT Aide or technician and/or administrative healthcare setting; or
• 2 or more years in sports performance/training
Preferred:
• Basic clinical assessment and differential diagnosis
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Proficient in exercise form/instruction
• Proficient in patient scheduling
• Proficient in patient intake
• Strong customer service skills and communication skills
• Emerging problem-solving capabilities to address patient/customer and operational needs
• Ability to assist patients with insurance related questions and direct them to the appropriate resource if necessary
• Coaches, trains and mentors OSS I & IIs
• Adaptable and agile to support key Operations initiatives
