PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

Immediate opportunities for Work-from-Home Patient Services Representative at American Health Connection (AHC). The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is a regular, full-time position with virtual training, company benefits, and 100% remote. No contracts! This is remote, but youโ€™ll still be an active, visible part of the team. You may be randomly on a camera snapshot during your work shift, never recording, just like being visible in the office (but with better coffee and comfier clothes). Each PSR is assigned to a virtual medical call center team that provides patients with full-service, central scheduling and communications services. Each team is assigned and receives customized training to support a medical health system client, like a hospital, medical center, multiple clinics, or a combination of all three.

  • Must have two years recent medical office experience.
  • Electronic medical record system (EMR/EHR) experience required.
  • Prefer high volume patient scheduling experience using electronic medical records. Each PSR can expect to handle 80+ calls backtoback per shift.
  • Candidates must have exceptional communication skills, including written (legible, concise, and with appropriate spelling) and verbal, including proper phone etiquette.
  • Must have a sense of urgency in assisting patients.
  • We require a private, noisefree, HIPAAcompliant space at home.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Proficient and selfsufficient technical knowledge on a desktop computer.
  • FULL-TIME DAY SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

    Monday โ€“ Friday and must be available for rotating 4th weekends.

    Hourly Rate Starts At $17.00
