Job description

Remote Staff Psychologist - Possibilities ABA

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate licensed psychologist (Counseling or Clinical) for a fully remote position who is energized by working with neurodiverse children, youth, and their families. This is a chance to join a growing practice where your assessments, clinical judgment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will make an immediate and lasting difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

This position can be 100% remote, but it is preferred to work near Logan, Utah. A relocation stipend of $5,000-$10,000 is available for qualified candidates who are relocating for this role.

About Possibilities ABA

Possibilities ABA is a rapidly expanding practice offering high-quality ABA and specialty counseling services for neurodiverse individuals and their families. Alongside traditional mental health care, we deliver targeted interventions for autism, OCD, and ADHD, and tailor supports that meet the whole child, beyond a diagnosis. We are committed to evidence-based care, thoughtful collaboration, and meaningful work with families.

Primary Role

As Remote Staff Psychologist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including assessing for autism and ADHD. Because this is a remote position, you will work with a local clinician trained to administer the ADOS-2 in-person, extending your reach as a provider.

You will be expected to complete parent developmental and clinical interviews, review all test data, review video recordings of the ADOS-2 as needed, provide feedback to the family, and provide a written report with your findings and recommendations.

We have a team of supportive and collaborative psychologists who are always looking for ways to improve our skills and assessment process. This includes opportunities for CE trainings, sharing report templates, and professional consultation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations via secure telehealth platforms, including developmental history interviews, behavioral observations, and standardized assessment procedures

  • Administer, score, and interpret autism-specific assessment tools appropriate for telehealth delivery (e.g. BOSA, TELE-ASD-PEDS, remote rating scales)

  • Integrate data from multiple sources including parent interviews, rating scales, school reports, medical records, and direct observation to determine diagnostic impressions

  • Formulate differential diagnoses related to autism spectrum disorder and co-occurring conditions (e.g. ADHD, anxiety, developmental delays)

  • Produce clear, clinically sound diagnostic formulations consistent with DSM-5-TR criteria

  • Prepare comprehensive psychological evaluation reports that summarize findings, diagnostic conclusions, and individualized recommendations

  • Other duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Physical Requirements

  • Stationary Position: Ability to remain in a seated or standing position for extended periods while performing administrative duties

  • Repetitive Motion: Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, operating a computer, and handling office equipment

  • Visual Acuity: Ability to view a computer screen and read written materials for prolonged periods

  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate, including speaking and hearing, to participate in meetings (in-person and virtual) and phone calls

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring the following strengths and experience:

  • Passion for working with neurodiverse individuals and their families

  • Proven competence in psychological evaluations, including skilled clinical interviewing, autism-specific assessment (including the ADOS-2 and related measures), and other standard assessment tools

  • Experience with tele-assessment

  • Experience with the BOSA

  • Experience with the TELE-ASD-PEDS

  • Practical experience delivering services to neurodiverse individuals

  • Clinical experience with children, youth, and young adults

  • Willingness to learn and work as a team

If you value collaborative practice, clear communication, and clinical excellence, you'll thrive here.

Location and Schedule

This is a fully remote position. A current PSYPACT authorization is required.

We support a balanced schedule that enables strong client relationships and professional autonomy.

Salary Range
