Job description

School Bus Driver Position

The Greene County School Transportation system is continually recruiting potential school bus drivers. We are presently operating our bus system with a very minimum number of drivers. We strongly encourage all parents and the general public to become involved and to help us replenish our driver list.

Qualification Requirements are:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older;
  • Must have a Commercial Driver's License (A or B) with an S and P Endorsement.

The pay scale will depend on experience. Sub driver pay is $15.00 per hour. Full time driver pay will range from $16.07 per hour to $19.97 per hour. A virtual online Commercial Driver's License class will be provided by the Greene County School System for potential drivers that do not have a CDL. There is no cost for this class.
