Job Description:
Devops Engineer
Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a security-first infrastructure engineer to own and maintain AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience orchestrating build chains that automate library publishing, application deployments, and data promotions. This role requires an engineer with a strong software development mindset who treats infrastructure entirely as code, thrives in compliance-heavy environments, and can bridge the gap between secure cloud operations and high-velocity development workflows.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of authentication protocols, strict compliance frameworks, and infrastructure hardening.
• Optimize CI/CD ecosystems, managing complex templated GitLab pipelines tailored for Turborepo monorepos.
• Manage the production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and system administration.
• Liaise with internal teams to upgrade and maintain any Terraform or CI/CD components.
• Keep clusters up-to-date with security patches and other compliance efforts.
• Suggest improvements to CI/CD pipeline templates to balance and reduce compute costs and increase pipeline speed or efficiency.
• Create and aggregate onboarding knowledge base, documentation, and diagrams of infrastructure and networking.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with AWS: EC2, EKS, S3, Route 53, VPC.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform and pipeline management.
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD, including GitLab template-driven pipeline maintenance.
• Strong communication skills to maintain cross-team relationships and monitor ongoing corporate compliance and security initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Turborepo is considered a plus.
