Since 1996, we have supplied healthcare providers, importers, distributors, hospitals, ministries of health, and specialty pharmacies across more than 70 countries worldwide.


As we continue to expand globally, we are seeking experienced pharmaceutical sales professionals located in Europe, Asia, or the Middle East who already possess established relationships and a proven track record in pharmaceutical import/export sales.


We are seeking a highly connected international pharmaceutical sales executive with an existing network of pharmaceutical buyers, importers, distributors, hospitals, government accounts, and healthcare organizations.


The ideal candidate has spent at least five years selling pharmaceuticals within their region and can leverage existing relationships to immediately generate business opportunities for GlobalRx.


Candidates must have a proven history of pharmaceutical import/export sales and demonstrate the ability to develop revenue quickly through an established book of business.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and grow pharmaceutical sales within your assigned region (Europe, Asia, or Middle East)
  • Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate revenue opportunities
  • Prospect and acquire new pharmaceutical distributors, hospitals, pharmacies, government agencies, and healthcare organizations
  • Promote GlobalRx's portfolio of FDA-approved branded and generic pharmaceuticals
  • Identify product shortages, special access opportunities, and difficult-to-source medications
  • Develop strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical importers and wholesalers
  • Generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline

Account Management

  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships
  • Conduct virtual and in-person customer meetings
  • Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, and commercial terms
  • Coordinate closely with procurement, logistics, quality, and regulatory teams
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor pharmaceutical market trends, shortages, pricing, and competitive activity
  • Identify new opportunities for product sourcing and distribution
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to executive leadership
  • Identify emerging therapeutic areas and high-demand products

International Trade & Compliance

  • Work with customers regarding import requirements and documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support international shipments
  • Maintain awareness of pharmaceutical regulations and import requirements within your region
  • Support controlled substance, specialty product, and cold-chain opportunities when applicable

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical import/export sales experience
  • Currently residing in Europe, Asia, or the Middle East
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Existing book of pharmaceutical business and customer relationships
  • Experience selling to:
    • Pharmaceutical distributors
    • Drug importers
    • Hospitals
    • Ministries of Health
    • Specialty pharmacies
    • Healthcare procurement organizations
  • Strong understanding of international pharmaceutical supply chains
  • Experience sourcing and selling FDA-approved pharmaceuticals internationally

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years of international pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Existing relationships with major pharmaceutical importers and distributors
  • Experience with specialty pharmaceuticals, oncology products, biologics, orphan drugs, or hospital injectables
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks within Europe, Asia, or the Middle East
  • Multilingual capabilities
