Virtual Hospitalist Opening in Charlestown, MA - Located 17 miles from BostonAbout the Job:

  • Seeking a BC/BE Virtural Hospitalist
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • This is NOT a remote position. You'll be based out of our state-of-the-art Command Center in Charlestown, MA.
  • Provide inpatient-level care in the comfort of a patient's home, ensuring clinical outcomes that are equal to or better than traditional hospitalization
  • This innovative model significantly reduces overall healthcare expenses by avoiding inpatient visits, post-acute care, and readmissions, all while improving the patient experience.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment (Physicians, NPs, RNs) from our virtual Command Center.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment in both the Command Center and patients' homes.
  • Patients receive comprehensive care including home infusion, meals/nutrient consultations, pharmacy/medical management, mobile imaging, laboratory services, and DME/oxygen.
  • Enjoy integrated care with primary care providers, specialists, and ancillary departments.
  • Education and Experience
  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
  • Experience as a hospitalist or in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is a plus.
  • - Committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse patient population.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
