Locum Gastroenterology Hospitalist

Looking for a locum Gastroenterology Hospitalist to help provide locum call coverage at the facilities concurrently.

Average callback hours:

  • Weekday: 15 hours
  • Weekend: 9 hours

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

  • Feb 14 (7a) - 21 (7a)
  • Mar 14 (7a) - 21 (7a)

Details:

  • Shifts are 24 hour call - Friday (7a) - Friday (7a) every other week
  • Facility Location: 222 N Nevada, Colorado Springs, CO 80907
  • Setting: Inpatient Trauma Level II
  • FTE: 1.0
  • Required Procedures/Job Duties: ERCP & General GI butter cases
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Support Staff: None
  • Reason for Coverage: No GI Service
  • Dealbreakers (Do Not Present): Must be able to perform ERCP

EMR Required Training:

  • Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
  • EMR Virtual training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed prior to the providers first day.

Credentialing Information:

  • Timeframe: 30-60 days
  • Credentialing with other facilities? Yes
  • If so, where: Saint Francis Hospital
  • Frequency of work at each facility: Potential for daily

Submission Requirements

  • Board Certified Gastroenterology - Required or Truly BE (0-5 years of fellowship completion with BC in Internal Medicine)
  • Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
  • Active CO DEA - Required for credentialing
  • Candidate must be available for any of the dates detailed in the job description - Required
  • Candidate must be able to perform ERCP - Required to note
  • Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required
  • Clean Malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
