Looking for a locum Gastroenterology Hospitalist to help provide locum call coverage at the facilities concurrently.
Average callback hours:
- Weekday: 15 hours
- Weekend: 9 hours
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- Feb 14 (7a) - 21 (7a)
- Mar 14 (7a) - 21 (7a)
Details:
- Shifts are 24 hour call - Friday (7a) - Friday (7a) every other week
- Facility Location: 222 N Nevada, Colorado Springs, CO 80907
- Setting: Inpatient Trauma Level II
- FTE: 1.0
- Required Procedures/Job Duties: ERCP & General GI butter cases
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: None
- Reason for Coverage: No GI Service
- Dealbreakers (Do Not Present): Must be able to perform ERCP
EMR Required Training:
- Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
- EMR Virtual training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed prior to the providers first day.
Credentialing Information:
- Timeframe: 30-60 days
- Credentialing with other facilities? Yes

Submission Requirements
- Board Certified Gastroenterology - Required or Truly BE (0-5 years of fellowship completion with BC in Internal Medicine)
- Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
- Active CO DEA - Required for credentialing
- Candidate must be available for any of the dates detailed in the job description - Required
- Candidate must be able to perform ERCP - Required to note
- Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required
- Clean Malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
