Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to create a workspace that suits your lifestyle while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Equipped with modern technology, you will connect with clients through secure telehealth platforms, offering flexibility to engage with individuals in a comfortable setting. Your schedule will consist of Monday to Friday working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, tailored to meet your needs while ensuring client accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions with individuals seeking support, fostering an engaging and safe environment for open discussions.
• Assessing patient needs through thoughtful evaluation and active listening in order to formulate collaborative treatment plans.
• Applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to the unique challenges faced by each client.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss challenging cases, share insights, and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Providing crisis intervention as needed, ensuring swift action to address immediate risks affecting client safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will range from adolescents to adults, each facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Your approach will be collaborative, leveraging your expertise to empower clients to embark on their personal growth journey. With a commitment to inclusivity, you will serve a diverse population, adapting your methods to respect and honor each individual’s unique background and experience.

Qualifications

• An active mental health license in Virginia (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, or LPC) is mandatory, demonstrating your professional qualifications to practice.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.
• A steadfast commitment to ethical practices and a client-centered approach to care.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping individuals overcome obstacles to their mental well-being.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a remote setting that includes virtual therapy.
• Experience utilizing telehealth technologies and platforms to engage clients effectively.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Compensation and Benefits
