Job description

Summary

In collaboration with course directors and faculty, coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of the Integrated Science blocks. Duties include scheduling course events, monitoring course enrollments, inputting grades, maintenance of course materials within the learning management system, scheduling exams and proctoring, assisting in recruiting course facilitators and other duties as assigned. Provide support to the Curriculum team to facilitate the achievement of the Integrated Science and School of Medicine's program goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate and collaborate on the development of course materials including educational materials for courses, course schedules, labs, exams, orientation materials, and course reports.

Build and maintain online course(s) in the Learning Management System (i.e., Brightspace) and curriculum information and scheduling databases (i.e., OASIS and MCWConnect).

Maintain course timeline including tracking deadlines for course components and assignment schedules, course and exam materials and grades.

Organize virtual and in person course sessions, assessment opportunities, and course related special events.

Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities with a high degree of independence.

Coordinate and manage course outreach activities including acting as a liaison with community organizations and affiliate partners.

Partner with the coordinator teams at the Green Bay and Central Wisconsin campuses and collaboarte on the development of quality improvement initiatives.

Conduct or coordinate training for course participants (i.e., students).

Coordinate recruitment and training of course faculty facilitators.

Collect, analyze, and disseminate course data, such as grades and attendance to course directors and other key stakeholders.

Develop and maintain database(s) to track, schedule, and record activities related to the institution, program, and learners.

Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the course.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.

Troubleshoot problems and advocate for medical students as needed.

Collaborate with Course Directors to achieve course and institutional goals.
