As a Cart Runner at Festival Foods, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service by assisting guests with parcel pick-up and ensuring carts are readily available. Whether rain or shine, your dedication to maintaining a welcoming and safe environment sets the stage for an outstanding shopping experience.

External Job Description
What You'll Do:
As a Cart Runner at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing Outstanding Service: Ensure that each customer (we call them guests) receives exceptional service in a friendly environment. Whether it's a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you'll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day.
  • Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere: Be friendly, courteous, and cooperative while effectively communicating with associates and customers.
  • Upholding Standards: Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.
  • Cart Collection: Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas, returning them to the store in all weather conditions.
  • Parcel Pickup: Perform prompt parcel pick-up service to enhance customer convenience.
  • Share and Solve: Share customer requests with management to enhance the shopping experience and feel empowered to resolve issues proactively as they arise.
  • Support the Team: Other duties as assigned, including supporting superior customer service initiatives.
  • Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; walk in the store; bend, stoop and lift or push up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed in all weather conditions
