Job description

Summary: Assemble packaged sewage tank systems per engineered drawings.

Reports To: EPS/LEP Supervisor

Titles Supervised: None

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Ability to assemble package sewage tank systems from engineered drawings and to complete mechanical, electrical, and sub-assemblies per work instructions, Bill of Materials, and best practices.
  2. Demonstrate ability to use electronic and pneumatic tools to build product.
  1. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Quality Department per the defined reject process.
  1. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to 6S standards.
  1. Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment as required per PM requirements.
  1. Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes as necessary.
  1. Operates hand pallet jack and forklift as necessary.
  2. Works at the direction of the Department Supervisor and Team Leads.
  1. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
  1. Participates in team meetings and projects.
  1. Works effectively in a team environment.
  1. You will be expected to perform in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
  1. You will be responsible for following safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and using good safety judgment. You will be expected to report all unsafe activities and conditions to the Supervisor and/or Safety Representative.

Experience/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Basic personal computer skills. This position also requires you to be able to prioritize tasks.

Work Schedule/Hours: Monday -Friday with typical business hours. Frequently work 9 and 10-hour days during spring, summer, and fall with some Saturday work based on customer demands.
