Description
Provide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for Sociology courses. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom.
Minimum Qualifications
• M. S. in Sociology or M.A. in Anthropology or Master's Degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Sociology.
• Minimum of 2 years college teaching experience within the discipline
• Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other Learning Management systems preferred.
• Previous online instruction required where appropriate.
• Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Supplemental Information
STATUS/SALARY:
This is a regular adjunct faculty position with salary to be determined by the adjunct faculty union contract.
