Automotive Service Advisor

Lum’s Chevrolet GMC – McMinnville, Oregon

Lum’s Chevrolet GMC is looking for a Service Advisor who can build trust with customers, communicate clearly, and keep our service department running smoothly. If you are organized, customer-focused, driven, and ready to join a dealership that values people and community, we want to hear from you.

At Lum’s, we believe great service goes beyond the repair order. We are looking for someone who can create strong relationships, deliver exceptional communication, and help customers feel confident throughout the entire service process.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair needs
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow with technicians
  • Communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and updates clearly
  • Provide estimates and explain services in a customer-friendly manner
  • Monitor repair progress and ensure timely follow-up
  • Deliver outstanding customer service from check-in to vehicle delivery
  • Maintain accurate documentation and repair orders
  • Work closely with technicians, parts personnel, and management to keep operations efficient

What We’re Looking For

Education:
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Service Advisor experience:  1 year (Preferred). Willing to consider applicants with automotive dealership sales experience.
