Position Overview

Viewpoint Psychotherapy And Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time position is designed for professionals who hold a valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment to develop an understanding of clients' emotional and psychological needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's therapeutic goals, employing evidence-based practices tailored to specific demographics and concerns.
• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions for adult clients, using solution-focused techniques to enhance coping strategies and promote positive changes in their lives.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services to clients facing urgent mental health challenges, ensuring they receive compassionate care and appropriate resources.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest best practices in mental health and counseling methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served through our platform have been pre-screened and are generally stable with lower acuity levels. This allows counselors to focus on providing comprehensive mental health support without the burden of managing high-crisis situations. Counselors will engage with a wide variety of demographics, fostering inclusive and tailored therapeutic approaches suited to each client's unique background and experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, showing the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude to support clients on their mental health journeys.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to proficiently handle caseloads and keep detailed client records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient settings, providing therapy to adult populations with diverse mental health issues.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems to enhance client care and documentation processes.
• Previous participation in multidisciplinary teams and understanding of integrated care models for comprehensive client support.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a lucrative salary, full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend to support their well-being. Counselors also benefit from free access to our platform’s services as clients, provided they remain active practitioners. Flexibility in scheduling is a cornerstone of this position, allowing counselors to create a work-life balance that works for them.
