Job description

Position Overview
Are you ready to launch your career in the construction industry with Helm? As an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role within the Helm Group by troubleshooting, and providing support for Vista, Viewpoint HR, Viewpoint Financial Controls, Viewpoint Field Tools as well as integrations with the Helm Group's ERP. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where adaptability and teamwork are key, Helm offers the perfect opportunity for you to grow and succeed. This role is located in our Freeport, IL office.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues
  • Respond to end user requests for assistance; troubleshoot reported issues and work closely with the Director of Accounting Technology using the Helm IT Helpdesk ticketing system
  • Utilize Viewpoint Knowledge Base.
  • Utilize Viewpoint Academy.
  • Work with Helm's ERP (Viewpoint) to troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist with other ERP and Helm Group technology initiatives and projects as requested.
  • Work with Director of Accounting Technology to learn basic Crystal Reports and SQL skills.
  • Promote standardization and collaboration of both accounting and project management processes and procedures between project accountants, project assistants and project management. Continually evaluate process improvement ideas and implement. Collaborate with operations managers on new ideas and initiatives and timing of roll out.
  • Develop training materials on new processes or software enhancements.
  • Assist new employees on everyday Viewpoint processes and functionality.
  • A "keen eye" for detail and accuracy

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, computer science, mathematics or equivalent work experience
  • A knowledge of Microsoft office products, primarily Excel, Word and Outlook
  • A knowledge of CoPilot Studio and AI Agents
  • Good organizational skills, and time management skills
  • Good people skills to interact with a variety of vendors, customers and employees
  • Knowledge of construction and job cost accounting.

Salary & Benefits
Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
