We are seeking a hands-on Vice President of Network Engineering to lead network architecture, strategy, and execution for large-scale AI datacenter infrastructure. This role reports to the EVP of AI Datacenter Engineering in the United States and will serve as the company's senior technical leader for AI networking, GPU cluster fabrics, hyperscale datacenter networking, and network reliability.

This is a builder role in an early-stage, flat organization. The right person must be comfortable setting strategy, making architecture decisions, working directly with vendors, and personally driving technical execution without relying on a large team.

The role is designed to align with a leader who has experience in AI network infrastructure, RDMA fabrics, GPU clusters, 400G/800G networks, hyperscale networking, network reliability, automation, and cost optimization.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Lead network architecture for AI datacenter environments, including GPU cluster fabrics, storage networks, management networks, and customer connectivity.
  • Design scalable, high-performance network fabrics using technologies such as RDMA, RoCE, InfiniBand, Ethernet AI fabrics, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, IPv6, and 400G/800G networking.
  • Evaluate network architecture options for NVIDIA, AMD, and other accelerated compute platforms.
  • Partner with datacenter engineering, facilities, compute, storage, security, procurement, and operations teams to ensure network designs are practical, scalable, and operationally supportable.
  • Lead technical evaluation of network vendors, OEMs, integrators, carriers, optics providers, and automation platforms.
  • Provide technical input into RFPs, vendor selection, equipment standards, bills of material, and commercial decisions.
  • Establish network reliability practices, including incident management, problem management, change management, monitoring, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
  • Create network standards, diagrams, design templates, deployment plans, runbooks, and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce CAPEX and OPEX through topology design, vendor strategy, hardware utilization, automation, and lifecycle planning.
  • Help build the future network engineering function, including hiring plans, team structure, tools, standards, and operating model.

How you will stand out:

  • 12+ years of experience in network engineering, datacenter networking, cloud networking, AI/HPC infrastructure, network reliability, or a related field.
  • Significant experience designing, deploying, or operating large-scale datacenter, cloud, hyperscale, HPC, GPU cluster, or mission-critical network environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in high-performance networking technologies, including Layer 2/Layer 3 architecture, routing protocols, redundancy, segmentation, telemetry, high-availability design, RDMA, RoCE, InfiniBand, spine-leaf fabrics, and 100G/400G/800G networking.
  • Experience with AI infrastructure platforms and ecosystems, including NVIDIA/Mellanox, AMD GPU platforms, Ultra Ethernet, Ethernet-based AI fabrics, or comparable technologies.
  • Proven ability to serve as both an executive-level technical leader and a hands-on architect who can lead design reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, guide implementation planning, and ensure operational readiness.
  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders, vendors, OEMs, carriers, integrators, and suppliers to evaluate technologies, influence strategy, and support commercial decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency through architecture, automation, vendor strategy, operational discipline, and lifecycle planning.
  • Experience building network standards, operating models, automation practices, observability, configuration compliance, source-of-truth processes, and teams from the ground up.
  • Experience supporting new datacenter builds, retrofits, cloud migrations, or large-scale network transformation programs.
  • Comfortable working in a flat, fast-moving organization where senior leaders are expected to personally drive execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

What you will experience working with us:

    • A culture that values authenticity and diverse perspectives.
    • An inclusive, respectful environment with open workspaces and an energetic, start-up spirit.
    • A fast-growing company with opportunities to network with industry pioneers and enthusiasts.
    • The ability to contribute directly and make an impact on the future of the digital asset and AI computing industry.
    • Involvement in new projects and in developing processes/systems.
    • Personal accountability, autonomy, rapid growth, and learning opportunities.
    • Attractive benefits and development such as training and mentoring.
