Vice President, Full Stack Engineer

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full Stack Engineer to join our Global Clearance team. This role is in Lake Mary, Florida.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:  

  • Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code in scalable client-side and server-side architecture. Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites. Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to satisfy requirements and solutions. Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain). Actively participate in code reviews. Integrate software components into a fully functional software system. Apply security and privacy principles. Execute full lifecycle software development. 
  • Develops full-stack applications by leveraging AI coding assistants (Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to generate, refactor, debug, and review code faster; responsible for crafting precise prompts, validating AI-generated output, integrating it into production codebases, and maintaining code quality standards across the SDLC. 
  • Translating business requirements directly into code without deep manual implementation; responsible for prompt engineering, output evaluation, rapid prototyping, and collaborating with teams to ship features using AI as the primary coding engine. 
  • Facilitate technical discussions and oversee the team's development work 
  • Foster a culture of learning, innovating, and continuous improvement 
  • Promote best engineering practices to deliver software via rapid iterations and frequent releases 
  • Work with product managers and UX designers to provide feedback to product roadmap, requirements, and UX designs 
  • Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and other Agile ceremonies 
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure timely delivery across all the systems at the program level 
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers 

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline preferred 
  • A minimum of 5 years of full stack technical experience.  
  • 5+ years of Java/Spring Boot/REST development experience, including microservices and event-driven architecture implementation 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with front-end technologies: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript  
  • 2+ years of test automation development using Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar. Experience with Test-Driven-Development is preferred. 
  • 2+ years of Oracle database experience 
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, either Sprint or Kanban. 
  • Experience in developing code using AI prompting and evaluating the output. 
  • Hands-on experience with release management and CICD deployment workflow processes, from development release through production deployment 
  • Strong technical and communication skills required 
  • Knowledge and experience in financial services or fintech is preferred
