VP of Product and Engineering

Job Description:

Develop and execute enterprise-level loyalty programs, subscription gifting models, and AI-driven marketing automation strategies. Lead initiatives to refine machine learning models that drive ultra-personalized recommendations, leveraging behavioral data, sentiment analysis, and predictive analytics to optimize customer engagement, brand promotions, and corporate gifting strategies. Oversee architectural responsibilities, designing and implementing scalable cloud-based APIs and infrastructure to facilitate real-time marketing automation, cross-platform integrations, and multi-industry adoption. Direct strategic API integrations with enterprise partners, e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and third-party logistics providers to create a seamless, data-driven gifting ecosystem. Design proprietary AI algorithms, automation workflows, and data-driven marketing strategies as well as develop intellectual property to contribute to the company's patent portfolio. Establish best practices for software security, regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS), and AI ethics in marketing automation. Drive the development of advanced algorithms across geo-spatial logistics, personalization, optimization, and behavior reward to power real-time delivery, intelligent user experiences, and high-retention engagement systems at scale. Mentor and guide senior engineers, setting standards for AI implementation, scalable software design, and API-driven development. Align product development with corporate growth strategies, collaborating with business leaders, marketing teams, and industry partners to expand the platform's reach and impact.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

    • Managing cloud infrastructure (GCP and AWS) and implementing serverless and dedicated VM architectures.
    • Developing in JavaScript, TypeScript, and the following modern web and mobile development frameworks: React.js, React Native, Expo;
    • Utilizing database management tools, including the following NoSQL and SQL solutions: Firestore, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL;
    • Developing with CI/CD pipelines, software deployment strategies, and automation using GitHub, Expo CI/CD, and GCP Functions;
    • Designed and implemented geo-spatial algorithms to optimize real-time delivery routing, dispatch, and location intelligence;
    • Developed personalization algorithms and scoring models to drive dynamic product recommendations and user engagement using predictive analytics, and customer engagement modeling;
    • Built logistics optimization algorithms for real-time batching, predictive dispatch, and supply-demand balancing stemming from advanced knowledge in operations research, dynamic scheduling, and event-driven systems;
    • Engineered behavioral reward algorithms to increase user retention through gamified loyalty and incentive systems using habit-forming product systems such as voucherify or talon-one;
    • Proven ability to develop full stack logistics systems, including CRM dashboards, live mapping with Google Maps, location tracing in React Native, and payment infrastructure using Stipe Connected Accounts;
    • Driving security and compliance initiatives across cloud platforms using best practices in encryption, data storage, and cyber protection tools;
    • Utilizing both internally developed and public CRM systems and data-driven user retention strategies, including Hubspot, Salesforce, and Braze;
    • Improving customer engagement metrics by measurable percentages through targeted initiatives;
    • Analyzing large-scale data sets and leveraging data insights for business intelligence and decision-making;
    • Designing and implementing scalable architectures for handling high-throughput applications;
    • Assessing financial models and cost optimization for cloud-based deployments;
    • Tracking and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) for software performance, security, and user engagement;
    • Conducting A/B testing and feature flag implementations for iterative software improvements; and
    • Utilizing business intelligence platforms, API integration and development technology for data analytics, and the following reporting tools: Zoho Analytics and BigQuery
    • Position is onsite reports to the New York, NY (NYC) office M-F.
    • Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
