Are you a visionary leader in the digital media space with a deep passion for innovation and driving impactful biddable strategies? CMI Media Group, a leading media agency within the WPP network, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President, Digital Activation to join our core leadership team.
In this pivotal role, you will champion our biddable media offerings for assigned client accounts, including SEM, Paid Social, Programmatic, Video, and other digital activation channels. You will serve as a key thought leader, both internally and externally, shaping strategic plans that consistently meet and exceed our clients' brand and marketing objectives. This is an opportunity to lead, innovate, and make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing organization, fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the overall strategy, innovation, and delivery of biddable capabilities across all assigned client accounts.
  • Establish clear goals and KPIs in partnership with our Business Insights team, ensuring campaign success.
  • Identify and spearhead omnichannel opportunities, connecting biddable media insights and strategies across teams.
  • Continuously research and advocate for new technologies, data sources, and innovations within the agency and for clients.
  • Bring innovative ideas directly to strategic partners to drive client growth and industry-leading solutions.
  • Cultivate and expand strong, strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders and key biddable media partners (e.g., Google, Microsoft, TikTok, The Trade Desk, Meta).
  • Represent CMI Media Group as a thought leader in public forums, conferences, and press opportunities.
  • Champion CMI Media Group and WPP capabilities, introducing tailored solutions to meet evolving client needs.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to develop, implement, and update best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure appropriate client staffing, optimizing work processes, and meeting/exceeding billable goals.
  • Mentor, develop, and inspire assigned biddable channel leaders, fostering their strategic and business acumen.
  • Hold biddable media teams accountable for executional excellence and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience managing biddable media campaigns within leading platforms (e.g., SA360, Sprinklr, The Trade Desk, other inventory and optimization platforms).
  • Deep expertise in audience suppliers and across biddable channels, particularly Video, Programmatic, Paid Social, and SEM.
  • 8+ years of proven team management experience, including developing and mentoring staff.
  • 8+ years of experience managing partner relationships with major media platforms and vendors.
  • Exceptional digital media background combined with strong project management skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in leading the development of departmental processes, partnerships, and proprietary tools.
  • Healthcare/Pharmaceutical background is a significant plus.
