Position Summary:

The Vice President, Data amp; Analytics Products is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and execution of OptimizeRx's portfolio of data, analytics, and AI-powered products. This leader will partner across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Commercial, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to transform proprietary healthcare data and advanced analytics into scalable products that improve audience development, media planning, campaign activation, and performance measurement for pharmaceutical manufacturers and their agency partners.

The ideal candidate combines strategic product leadership with deep experience commercializing data products, translating advanced analytics into intuitive customer experiences, and building high-performing product organizations.

This role is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and commercialization of products supporting:

Primary Responsibilities

Product Strategy amp; Portfolio Leadership

  • Define the short- and long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Identify emerging opportunities by evaluating healthcare data, artificial intelligence, analytics, advertising technology, customer insights, and competitive trends to create differentiated products and sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Prioritize product investments by balancing customer value, commercial opportunity, technical feasibility, strategic importance, and organizational capacity.

Product Development amp; Delivery

  • Lead cross-functional product teams through the entire product lifecycle—from discovery through commercialization—by defining product requirements, prioritizing features, developing release plans, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Establish product management best practices, including roadmap governance, product discovery, prioritization frameworks, lifecycle management, and portfolio reviews that improve execution, transparency, and decision-making.
  • Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and AI teams to transform advanced analytics, predictive models, and machine learning capabilities into intuitive commercial products that deliver measurable customer value.
  • Ensure products are designed in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Security teams to meet HIPAA, regulatory, contractual, and responsible AI requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a Technical Product Manager direct report by establishing clear priorities, aligning day-to-day execution with product strategy, and fostering a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused product organization.

Commercialization amp; Market Leadership

  • Develop commercialization strategies that maximize customer adoption, business value, and market impact by partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success on pricing, packaging, positioning, launch planning, and customer enablement.
  • Partner directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers, agencies, and customer-facing teams to identify market needs, validate product opportunities, and translate customer insights into scalable product capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to evaluate market trends, competitive positioning, and industry dynamics that inform product strategy and portfolio growth.

Portfolio Performance amp; Investment

  • Partner with Finance and Executive Leadership to develop business cases, evaluate investments, allocate resources, and continuously assess portfolio performance against strategic and financial objectives.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators that measure customer adoption, engagement, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and overall business impact, using portfolio reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Executive Leadership

  • Represent OptimizeRx with customers, strategic partners, and industry organizations by communicating the company's vision for healthcare data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and media innovation while serving as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholder

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of Product Management experience
  • 7+ years leading product organizations
  • Experience building commercial data products
  • Experience with cloud-scale data platforms
  • Experience commercializing analytics products
  • Strong understanding of claims, EHR, and other healthcare or life sciences data
  • Experience working with engineering and data science organizations
  • Minimum 5 years of experience building AI models, including deployment in production environments
  • Experience with fundamentals of advanced analytics and Machine Learning (ML) workflows
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of marketing analytics, market research, or data-driven insights in life science industry
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or life science industry, required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
