Job description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Client Enablement to join our Wealth Services Platform team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ.

The Vice President, Client Enablement joins our Client Transition team, which focuses on Broker Dealers and Advisors to onboard their business to Pershing's Custody and Managed Platform.ย 

The Client Transition department consists of two primary roles - Account Manager and Specialist. This Vice President, Client Enablement role will be a "Specialist" within the Client Transition organization. For further explanation, our Account Managers ensure a seamless transition for new clients in compliance with legal and compliance regulations and follow a project management discipline to coordinate activities spanning many teams and topics. Our Specialists gather, clean, map, transform, reconcile, test, validate and manage the lifecycle of client demographic or positions and balance data from project initiation through to program closure. In this role, you will manage and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies. You will report exceptions and statuses to the required business teams, managers and clients. You will serve as a liaison between clients and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification. And you will provide advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy.ย 

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.
  • Data Transfer, Integration and Quality Analysis.
  • Business and technology requirements gathering.
  • Data analysis & consultation.
  • Data Transformation through Microsoft SQL.
  • Independently handle designated assignments.
  • Scheduling and process prioritization.
  • Organization and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data cleaning, validation, testing, mapping and exception reporting.
  • Risk assessment, documentation, communication, and escalation.
  • Performs data normalization, constructs data diagrams, and provides data flow diagrams and documents processes.
  • Performs macro-level analyses to identify trending issues across clients, products, integration or transition activities, etc.
  • Leverage knowledge of industry regulations and compliance
  • No direct reports, but contribute to a highly collaborative team.
  • Researches, develops and establishes methodologies, protocols and processes to facilitate or improve transition project management or the client onboarding/transition/conversion experience.ย 

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: ย 

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.ย 
  • 7-10 years of total work experience. ย 
  • Project management certification is preferred.
  • Experience in client-facing or project management roles.ย 
  • Data Transformation through Microsoft SQL or other tools strongly preferred.
  • Experience in securities, financial services or client-facing or project management or business analysis roles preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL and a strong understanding of relational databases preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience preferred experience with technology or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office product suite.
