Adjunct Veterinary Technology Instructor
Job Description
Position: Adjunct Veterinary Technology Instructor; Part-time, Non-benefited; Location and Assignment dependent on candidate
Essential Duties:
-Prepare, coordinate, and deliver curricula, syllabi, and lesson plans to students using available technology tools
-Incorporate experiential learning methods into instruction
Salary:
-$740 per Credit Hour
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of AVMA Veterinary Technology program
  • Successful completion of VTNE or willingness to complete within one year
  • Experience involving large and small animals in a clinical setting
  • Current and valid state-issued driver's license

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Completion of AVMA approved Veterinary Technology program
  • One year full-time teaching experience in discipline at secondary level or higher
  • Previous instruction experience in higher education
  • Background in Veterinary Technology or related field
