Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Three Rivers, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will support a secure environment through attentive access-control procedures, a visible presence, and collaborative customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Control access for employees, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with established procedures and restricted-area requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, surrounding areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
