Job description

Emotional Support Teacher
Hempfield High School
2026 - 2027 School Year

Job Summary: Implements approved policies and programs of the school, establishes an environment conducive to learning and supervises students within the classroom and other assigned areas, develops lesson plans and delivers instruction to groups and individual students within established curriculum and technology guidelines, collaborates with other professional staff to address instructional and classroom issues, communicates with parents/guardians regarding the instructional program and student progress and concerns, and fulfills such other duties associated with the class as the administration may assign.

Position Information:

  • Full-Time, with benefits
  • 7.5 hours/day

Qualifications:

  •  Current PA Special Education PK -12 Certification 

Required Documents:

  • Current PA Criminal History background check
  • Current Federal Criminal background check
  • Current Child Abuse background check
