This role is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own home in Berkeley, California, or anywhere else you choose, while still supporting clients in need. As a fully telehealth position, you will utilize state-of-the-art technology to facilitate engaging live video sessions and manage client care seamlessly. Our user-friendly therapist portal includes advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems integrated with artificial intelligence to streamline your documentation and client check-ins, enhancing the efficiency of your practice.

• Conduct weekly evidence-based therapy sessions through synchronous video meetings, addressing a diverse array of emotional disorders faced by adult clients.
• Utilize digital tools for symptom assessments, track functional improvements, and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for each client’s treatment journey.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation through our innovative therapist portal, offering a reliable means of recording and managing client data.
• Engage in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest evidence-based practices and therapies.

You will primarily work with adults facing serious emotional distress often tied to terminal illness, loss, or significant life changes. Your responsibility as an LCSW will be to create a safe, supportive space where clients can express their emotions, navigate their experiences, and find solutions alongside compassionate guidance. Emphasis will be placed on understanding each client's unique cultural background to tailor therapeutic approaches that resonate deeply with them.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• An active and independent LCSW license in the state of California.
• A strong commitment to providing culturally responsive care, and the ability to treat a wide range of mental health disorders.
• Strong professional ethics and confidentiality adherence, maintaining the highest standards in clinical practice.

• At least 2 years of direct experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based interventions to adults dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, and other emotional challenges.
• A willingness to embrace technology and integrate digital tools into your therapeutic practice effectively.
• Experience in hospice care or working with terminally ill clients is a significant advantage.
