• Conduct thorough assessments and initial evaluations of patients to determine their mental health needs, facilitating accurate diagnoses and effective treatment strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, incorporating therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient’s circumstances.
• Engage in regular counseling sessions to monitor patients’ progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Provide education on coping mechanisms and stress management techniques to both patients and their families, fostering a supportive environment for healing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and medical professionals, to ensure holistic support for patients, addressing both mental and physical health needs.
• Utilize tools such as electronic medical records (EMR) and potential Salesforce applications to document patient interactions and maintain accurate records.
• Stay current on industry best practices and trends by completing continuing education requirements, enhancing your professional skills and knowledge.

This role primarily focuses on patients who have experienced trauma, providing specialized mental health support to help them navigate their emotional and psychological challenges. Our patient population includes individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with unique needs and experiences. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be instrumental in delivering compassionate care that empowers clients to overcome their challenges and achieve their personal goals.

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with trauma patients in a clinical setting.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate meaningful connections with patients.

• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for client documentation and management.
• Familiarity with Salesforce as a client management platform is a plus.
• Previous work in remote counseling settings or telehealth environments.

Flourish Mental Health offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
