• Deliver virtual mental health therapy to clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that each session is personalized and relevant to their specific needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary based on feedback and progress.

The client population comprises first responders, including police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and their families, who often encounter high-stress situations. Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, offering tailored approaches that resonate with their unique experiences and challenges.

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California is essential.
• At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting is necessary, showcasing your ability to support clients effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to manage your caseload efficiently while working independently in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with digital documentation platforms used for client records and progress tracking is highly valued.

While two years of direct counseling experience is required, candidates with additional post-graduate clinical experience or specialized training in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or working with first responders will be given preference. The ability to navigate virtual therapy sessions seamlessly is also advantageous.
