Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a high-level PPC Manager with deep, proven experience in Addiction Treatment and Behavioral Healthcare marketing. This is not a general PPC role. We are looking for someone who understands the nuances of the space, has successfully managed $100,000+ per month in ad spend within this industry, and knows how to drive qualified leads in one of the most competitive and compliance-sensitive verticals in digital advertising.

This person will oversee multiple paid search accounts across the addiction treatment and behavioral healthcare space, with combined monthly spend in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. The right candidate will be both a strong operator and a strategic thinker — someone who can optimize performance at a high level while also helping develop and coach a more junior team member.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize multiple Google Ads and paid search accounts in the addiction treatment and behavioral healthcare space
  • Oversee combined monthly ad spend in the hundreds of thousands of dollars
  • Build, launch, and scale campaigns focused on lead generation, admissions, and qualified calls
  • Continuously improve performance across key metrics such as CPL, CPA, call quality, lead quality, and downstream conversion rates
  • Conduct high-level account strategy, including campaign structure, keyword expansion, negative keyword strategy, ad testing, landing page recommendations, bidding strategies, and budget allocation
  • Analyze performance data and identify actionable opportunities to improve efficiency and volume
  • Work closely with leadership to align paid media strategy with business goals
  • Help coach, train, and develop a beginner/junior PPC employee
  • Maintain strong awareness of compliance considerations, platform sensitivities, and best practices specific to this vertical
  • Collaborate with internal teams on conversion tracking, reporting, lead quality feedback loops, and funnel optimization

Required Experience

  • Extensive PPC experience specifically in Addiction Treatment, Behavioral Healthcare, Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder treatment, or closely related healthcare lead generation
  • Proven history of directly managing at least $100,000+ per month in ad spend within this space
  • Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, paid search strategy, conversion optimization, and lead generation funnels
  • Experience improving performance not just on front-end lead volume, but on lead quality and actual business outcomes
  • Ability to work independently at a senior level and make strong strategic decisions without heavy oversight
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or managing junior team members
  • Strong communication, reporting, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in highly competitive private-pay or insurance-driven treatment markets
  • Deep understanding of call-driven funnels, form funnels, CRM feedback loops, and offline conversion tracking
  • Familiarity with landing page testing and CRO in healthcare lead generation environments
  • Experience working with large budgets across multiple brands, facilities, or markets
  • Ability to identify when platform policy, compliance, or market dynamics are impacting performance and adjust accordingly

What We’re Looking For

  • A true expert in this niche, not a generalist
  • Someone who understands the stakes, speed, and complexity of addiction treatment marketing
  • Someone who can own performance, think strategically, and execute at a high level
  • A leader who is comfortable being hands-on while also helping elevate others on the team

Compensation

We are prepared to pay for the right person.

  • Base salary starting at $160,000+
  • Compensation can exceed $200,000 for a candidate with exceptional, directly relevant experience and results

To Apply

Please include:

  • A resume
  • A brief summary of your experience in Addiction Treatment and/or Behavioral Healthcare PPC
  • Details on the level of monthly budget you have managed in this space
  • Examples of account types, campaign goals, or performance outcomes you have owned
