As a fully remote position, the LCSW will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from a home-based office while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. This role provides the chance to balance work and home life while delivering critical support to patients and families through telehealth methods.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and end-of-life emotions, while utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans within our EHR system to ensure proper continuity of care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique emotional and psychological needs of clients and their families, regularly evaluating and adjusting these plans based on the client’s evolving goals.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a unified approach to patient care and support.
• Stay updated on the latest industry best practices and therapeutic interventions to enhance clinical skills and improve client outcomes.
• Participate in supervision and peer support sessions to maintain professional growth and reflect on therapeutic practices.

The primary focus of this position will be on patients in a hospice care context, which often includes terminally ill individuals and their families. The LCSW will provide emotional support during a sensitive period, addressing not only the psychological challenges of the patient but also of family members coping with grief and uncertainty. Understanding the dynamics of loss and bereavement is crucial in delivering compassionate and effective care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.
• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Proven clinical skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients, particularly in high-stress environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and clear documentation in client records.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for enhancing clinical practice.

• Experience working with hospice or palliative care clients is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies to support remote therapy sessions.
• Prior work experience in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment is advantageous.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
