The Worldwide Events Team is seeking a dynamic Venue Operations Lead to be part of our Production Services group. From new launches and keynotes, to live productions and hands-on experiences, this team is charged with managing the planning, end-to-end production, guest journeys and unique details that make these events special.

As part of the Worldwide Events team’s Production Services group, the Venue Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in operating a core production venue in Santa Clara Valley. This world class venue supports live event experiences and filmed content productions. It’s a particularly exciting time to join our team as we continue to create flawless content and brand experiences in state-of-the-art facilities throughout the Apple ecosystem!
This is an opportunity to join an exceptionally hardworking team dedicated to creating, executing, and innovating shared event and filmed experiences. As a critical member of the Production Services team within Worldwide Events, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing best practices and operational excellence for our location. If you have experience in venue or studio management, particularly in spaces that produce live events or filmed content (such as theatrical, entertainment, or tech-based venues), we’d love to hear from you!","responsibilities":"Serve as an onsite Operations lead in Santa Clara Valley to support the day-to-day operations of our venue space(s) in this market.
Serve as the main onsite contact for operations for events taking place within this market.
Contribute to an operations manual and way of working within the facilities. Align to ensure all processes and procedures are in line with the overall processes of Worldwide Events production facilities.
Interface with various Apple cross-functional partners and production vendors to ensure appropriate processes are followed and adhered to.
Interface with Worldwide Events team and other cross functional business partners including production, Places, Networking, Health & Safety, PR, PM.
Support all aspects of events at this facility from planning, load-in, load-out and execution of the event. This also includes preplanning documentation, manuals, schedules, and maintenance in the down times between events.
Liaison with Places Team to make sure the venue is being operated and cared for within the normal facilities guidelines.
Participate in production and operations and cross-functional meetings to support any event initiatives.
Ensures all events and projects within venue adhere to city guidelines and Apple EHS standards.
Preferred Qualifications
This role requires positive relationships with production vendors and cross-functional partners.
Experience leading live events and/or film/theatrical productions.
Experience supporting short or long-term venue construction projects.
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization.
Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient with the ability to influence others
Degree in related field of study or equivalent experience preferred.
Competency of AutoCAD a plus.
Works well within a team and understands team dynamics.
Flexibility to work as required to fulfill business needs.
Ability to travel.
Experience or basic knowledge of Santa Clara County permitting guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
5+years venue management / venue operations experience with a proven track record.
Organizational expertise in creating and carrying out high-level operational plans for production facilities/event venues.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,700 and $180,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
