**THE ROLE: BOOKING MANAGER, PECHANGA ARENA**The Booking Manager is a key member of the management team, responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision for event programming at Pechanga Arena. This role oversees all booking activity across the venue, with a focus on maximizing revenue, growing the venue’s national and global reputation, and delivering a world-class calendar of live entertainment, sports, and special events.Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Booking Manager will lead the end-to-end booking process, including business development, contract management, and long-range calendar planning. This role will cultivate and manage relationships with top-tier promoters, agents, producers, and content partners across the live events industry. The Booking Manager will also work cross-functionally with internal departments—including operations, marketing, premium, finance and guest services—to ensure seamless execution and optimal results for all booked events.**LOCATION: SAN DIEGO, CA****WHAT YOU’LL DO*** Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of all venue booking activities of Pechanga Arena in alignment with Legends Global live entertainment strategy* Drives utilization of the venue by actively promoting its use and negotiating event lease agreements in the best interest of the arena, under the guidance of the General Manager* Negotiates contracts and agreements with promoters, agents, and legal representatives to secure premium content and ensure favorable deal terms* Collaborates with the General Manager and Corporate Central Booking Team to develop and manage a comprehensive booking strategy focused on maximizing revenue through high-impact events* Provides strategic input on event-specific staffing requirements to ensure appropriate resource allocation and event success* Identifies and pursues new booking opportunities, including emerging event types and untapped markets—with a focus on innovative, diverse, and high-profile content across concerts, sports, comedy, family shows, and special events* Contributes to branding and marketing efforts by supporting the development of sales collateral and event marketing strategies across print, digital, press, trade shows, and social media platforms* Generates private event revenues through parking lot bookings or full-private events in the arena* Leads or supports special projects and initiatives as assigned by the General Manager**WHAT YOU BRING*** A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in venue booking within live entertainment and/or sports* Understanding of the facility management industry, including promotions, concerts, family shows, private/corporate events and special events.* Experience in contract negotiation, development and execution* Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic and mature manner with internal and external clients at all levels as well as VIPs* Exceptional guest and client service capabilities* Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use the utmost discretion when privy to sensitive information* Highly organized with excellent project coordination and project management skills* Must be a self-starter and have ability to work under minimal supervision* Enterprising and self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision* Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment* Proficient in Microsoft Applications, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and ability to learn acquired business systems* Must be flexible and adaptable to changes, when necessary* Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required**COMPENSATION**Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.*Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000***PHYSICAL DEMANDS**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
