Job Summary: The Ticket Sales & Service Internship is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in the sports industry while gaining hands-on experience across ticket sales, service, and gameday operations. Interns will support current and prospective fans through outbound communication, relationship development, sales and service initiatives, account and payment servicing, Season Ticket Member programs, and gameday experiences. Interns will build the skills needed to succeed in the sports industry while delivering exceptional customer service and representing our Core Values of PROUD, PROGRESS, BELIEF, and FAMILY.
Key Responsibility Areas:
  • Manage inbound communication and servicing for various products and campaigns
  • Supports department initiatives and campaigns, including various sales contests and activations
  • Utilizes technology to establish and develop relationships with potential customers.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding individual and team performance and developmental goals
  • Assists with gameday duties including but not limited to Membership Service table, ticket resolution, fan experience offerings, and hosting tours for prospective ticket plan buyers.
  • Assists with the collection of declined payments and delinquent accounts
  • Helps coordinate Season Ticket Member gift distribution and execution
  • Actively participates in sales training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • College Majors in Business, Sports Management, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Dependability is key: consistently punctual and prepared for a fast-paced environment, executes instructions, and embraces coaching
  • High level of confidence, enthusiasm, and personal accountability
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work Kings games and events on nights/weekends

To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:
  • Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
  • Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
  • Able to work 25 hours per week

Interns will be compensated $17.50 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
