Position Summary
This role is responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities within a designated value stream. This role involves overseeing daily operations, leading a team, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize processes and deliver high-quality products or services.

Production hours are Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 4 pm. This position would support production hours as well as overtime hours on Fridays as needed.
Job Description
Duties Responsible:
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of individuals within the value stream.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Implement Lean or Agile principles to optimize processes within the value stream.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that products or services meet defined quality standards.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations within the value stream.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork. Identify training needs within the team and coordinate training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Support the professional development of team members.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the value stream.
  • Generate regular reports on production performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the value stream.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Required Skills and Abilities:
The ideal candidate must possess the following
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing or operational setting.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
