Used Vehicle Manager

Bettenhausen Automotive is seeking a driven, strategic, and results-oriented Used Vehicle Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle operations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record in sales, inventory management, and sourcing, who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment and is motivated to maximize profitability and team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all dealership locations consistently meet or exceed used vehicle sales targets on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis

  • Oversee and manage used vehicle inventory levels and turn rates

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify high-demand vehicles and optimize inventory selection

  • Proactively source retail inventory through creative and strategic channels

  • Negotiate with dealers and wholesalers to secure the best possible pricing and terms

  • Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies for all used vehicles

  • Collaborate with General Sales Management to establish goals and analyze industry trends

  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to used vehicle sales

  • Train, mentor, and support sales staff to enhance performance and professional growth

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented environment while motivating staff to achieve sales objectives

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of proven success in used vehicle sales or management

  • Previous automotive supervisory experience preferred

  • Experience in inventory management and control preferred
