JOB SUMMARY:

A Used Vehicle Director will be responsible for... managing all facets of the Used Vehicle Department.  From appraising to acquisition to reconditioning to the sale to the end user.  You must ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about the inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Having knowledge of the dealership's vehicles and explaining their features and warranties to customers
  • Answer guest questions about cars, financing and purchase process
  • Negotiate vehicle prices and trade-in values for guest's vehicle
  • Appraising values for trade in and purchase
  • Pricing the inventory to sell

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • State driver’s license with satisfactory DMV driving record
  • Must meet other company requirements for employment such as background check and drug test
  • No experience is necessary. We will train you!

PAY:

We offer a competitive commission draw pay plan with monthly bonuses.

Must lift within the parameters of the responsibility of the job. Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Working both indoors and outdoors.
