Sheehy Auto Mall of Hagerstown is looking for an Experienced Used Vehicle Sales Manager or Director to manage multiple dealerships who is energetic, passionate, highly motivated, and ready to guide an outstanding sales team.  If you love to win and are fiercely competitive, then this is the opportunity for you. With sales volume on the rise, we need a Used Vehicle Sales Manager or Director with a proven track record of exceptional customer service, vehicle acquisition, desking deals, leadership and training, and providing top-notch appraisals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversea and Direct the Used Car Operations to successfully acquire and sell used Cars for multiple dealerships.
  • Ability to effectively manage all areas of the sales department, including but not limited to wholesale, retail, purchasing, and marketing
  • Experience with automotive internet and retail tools, i.e., v-auto, E-car list
  • Ability to forecast goals and objectives for vehicle sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis
  • Possess strong closing abilities
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure high standards are held for the delivery of vehicles to customers
  • Ensure that sales representatives understand and follow dealership policies at all times
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, subordinates, and other management
  • Ability to train and be a leader to your sales staff; an effective manager is a great leader
  • Oversea and Direct the Used Car Operations to successfully acquire and sell used Cars for multiple dealerships.

Requirements

  • Must have previously Used Vehicle sales management experience 
  • vAuto, Dealertrack, and eLeads experience a plus!
  • Leadership skills with a real passion for training fellow employees
  • Goal-oriented, friendly personality, especially when negotiating to price
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Quality customer service, communication, computer, and basic math skills
  • Authorized to work in the USA
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug test
  • Must have a valid driver's license
