We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Used Car Acquisitions Buyer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the automotive industry who wants to develop a career in vehicle purchasing. You will receive full training and mentorship to help you understand market trends, vehicle valuations, and the acquisition process.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in sourcing and acquiring quality used vehicles through various channels, including trade contacts, auctions, and private sellers.
  • Calling on service customers with valuations on their vehicles
     
  • Develop an understanding of vehicle pricing, market trends, and valuation tools.
     
  • Support in negotiating purchase prices and securing profitable deals.
     
  • Conduct thorough research on vehicle history, condition, and demand.
     
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, dealerships, and other industry contacts.
     
  • Work closely with the sales and acquisition management teams to ensure a steady flow of vehicles.
     
  • Maintain accurate records of acquisitions and report on performance metrics.
     
  • Attend industry events and auctions to expand knowledge and network.
