About Uplift

Uplift is a dynamic agency specializing in global talent search, covering EMEA, LATAM, USA, and APAC. With successful placements in 59 countries, we combine speed and cutting-edge technology to source top executive and mid-senior talent across various functions. Our innovative approach integrates global networks, AI, and advanced recruitment tools. Beyond recruitment, we engage with our audience through our podcast, newsletter, and webinars, ensuring we stay at the forefront of talent acquisition and global HR trends.

Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing mobile ad tech company specializing in in-app programmatic advertising. Their Demand-Side Platform (DSP) empowers advertisers to efficiently reach their target audience across mobile devices.

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Publisher Partnerships.

This person will identify, pitch, negotiate, and close mobile app publishers and developers that can integrate the company SDK to improve ad monetization, demand access, yield, and programmatic revenue. This is a commercial, technical, and partner-facing role. You'll thrive here if you have strong mobile publisher relationships and a real grasp of SDK monetization — mediation, waterfalls, bidding, ad quality, app-ads.txt, and privacy/compliance — and enjoy working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Account Management, Ad Ops, Legal, and Finance.

What you'll do

  • Build and manage a pipeline of mobile app publishers, game studios, and developers for company SDK adoption
  • Source, qualify, pitch, negotiate, and close new SDK supply partnerships — owning the full cycle from prospecting to integration handoff
  • Educate publishers on company's SDK value proposition — demand access, yield uplift, fill, eCPM, latency, formats, and reporting
  • Develop account-specific monetization proposals using publisher traffic, DAU, geo mix, ad formats, current stack, and revenue opportunity
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to address publisher SDK questions, integration blockers, mediation and privacy requirements, and technical documentation needs
  • Coordinate with Account Management and Technical Account Management to ensure signed publishers successfully launch and scale
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, deal stages, close probability, and expected revenue contribution
  • Negotiate commercial terms, including revenue share, payment terms, exclusivity if applicable, SDK placement, format access, reporting obligations, and performance expectations
  • Work with Legal and Finance to move contracts through review and approval
  • Track market trends across mobile SDK monetization, mediation, bidding, Google bidding certification, ad quality, app-ads.txt, privacy, and publisher yield strategies
  • Represent company at industry events and build senior relationships with publisher founders, monetization leads, product leaders, and ad operations teams
  • Provide internal feedback on publisher objections, competitive positioning, pricing, product gaps, and integration requirements
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals for signed publishers, live SDK integrations, revenue-generating supply, and pipeline creation

What you bring

  • Strong existing relationships with mobile app publishers, game studios, and developers
  • Solid understanding of SDK monetization, mediation, waterfalls, bidding, ad quality, and app-ads.txt
  • Familiarity with privacy and compliance requirements in mobile advertising
  • Ability to run a full commercial cycle independently, from prospecting through contract execution
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Account Management, Ad Ops, Legal, and Finance
  • Strong negotiation skills across revenue share, payment terms, and commercial contract structures
  • Excellent CRM discipline and pipeline forecasting habits
  • Willingness to travel for industry events and in-person partner meetings

What we offer

  • Base salary of $110,000–$170,000 USD, commensurate with experience, location, and level
  • Flexible work setup, hours, and a supportive team culture
  • Unlimited PTO + 10 sick days + 10 paid holidays
  • Paid parental leave (14 weeks primary, 7 weeks secondary)
  • 401(k) & retirement planning
  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life
  • Ancillary insurance programs
  • Monthly stipends: cell phone, gym, internet, commuter (NY-based)
  • Laptop + desk budget
