Job description

Join Amazon Ads as a Senior Solution Architect and become the trusted technical partner for publishers seeking to maximize their advertising revenue. You'll work at the intersection of customer needs and product innovation, solving complex technical challenges while shaping the future of our advertising platform that serves billions of queries daily.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical consultant for publisher customers, understanding their business objectives and recommending tailored advertising solutions
Collaborate with publishers, monetization specialists, and internal product and engineering teams to design and implement technical strategies
Diagnose and resolve technical issues for customers, providing clear explanations and sustainable solutions
Gather and synthesize customer feedback to identify product gaps and opportunities, communicating these insights to our development teams
Develop actionable recommendations that help customers optimize their advertising performance and revenue
A day in the life
As an Ads Solutions Architect, you'll spend your time deeply understanding publisher challenges and translating those insights into technical solutions. One moment you're reviewing a publisher's monetization performance, the next you're collaborating with our engineering team to design a custom implementation strategy. You could be troubleshooting a technical integration issue while simultaneously documenting a new feature request that will inform our product roadmap. You'll move fluidly between strategic planning sessions with publishers and hands-on technical problem-solving with our internal teams, ensuring that both sides understand each other's needs and constraints.

Our team works closely with some of the largest publishers in the industry, understanding their unique challenges and helping them grow their advertising business. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of professional or military experience
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures
- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- Advertising industry experience including ad tech, ad serving and measurement, identity graphs, audience and contextual signals and targeting.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
