Job description

Job Summary:
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Information, Risk, and Operations Management. The role focuses on use-inspired AI research, developing AI systems and human-AI collaboration methods to improve outcomes in healthcare and other high-impact contexts.
Responsibilities:
• The position is in-person in Austin Texas. The postdoctoral researcher will be a key member of the research team, responsible for driving, coordinating, and conducting research, and will have opportunities to initiate research and mentor Ph.D. students.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Ph.D research that is relevant to use-inspired AI, interest in human-AI collaboration including in the context of LLMs, and knowledge in and research experience with LLMs.
• Ph.D in an applicable field earned within the last 3 years.
Preferred:
• Interest and prior record in LLMs Human-AI collaboration for decision-making.
• Demonstrated research independence, an ability and interest to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary research team.
