Position: Senior IT Delivery Project Manager – Industrial Technology

Location: Salt Lake City, UT – 3 Days Onsite | Local Candidates Only

Contract: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

Overview:

Client is looking for a senior Sr. Project Manager Consultant with extensive global experience in IT Management, design, project implementation and service delivery. The PM will manage IT 3 concurrent workstreams including Network Technology (WAN)/LAN), Cybersecurity, and SAP. PM will be responsible for project scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, resource planning, risk and issue management, vendor coordination, governance, and executive reporting across multiple concurrent workstreams with budgets of 3-10M . This role requires a delivery-focused project manager who can drive complex technology projects from initiation through closure while partnering with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Architecture, Procurement, Legal, Finance, business stakeholders, and external implementation partners. The ideal PM should have experience delivering technology workstreams for the construction and commissioning of manufacturing, chemical, processing, or major capital project environments.

A. Minimum of 7-10+ years related work experience in customer-facing organizations within the IT Infrastructure industry or equivalent with expertise in 2 or 3 workstreams:

  • SAP (S4/HANA, Modules FI/CO, Procurement & Supply Chain, Human Capital Management, Project Systems)
  • Non-SAP applications,
  • Data Center,
  • Cybersecurity,
  • Infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
  • Network Enterprise Platform

B. Experience in Professional Serves/Consulting and/or large Global enterprise Organization within a Greenfield environment conducting the following activities:

  • Demonstrated accountability for project scope, schedules, budgets, financial controls, forecasting, resource planning, risks, issues, dependencies, change management, governance, and executive reporting.
  • Facilitate requirements and inputs from IT and business stakeholders to ensure completion of deliverables.
  • Plan and deliver IT work stream projects against a larger program by supporting site construction, commissioning, operational readiness, and production startup.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans aligned to construction milestones, technology dependencies, and business readiness requirements.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, resource planning, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control.

C. Must have SME creating comprehensive project documentations, maintain effective communication with their managers & peers, follow up on issues, action items, and risks, or effectively manage change requests impacting project scope, schedule, and budget.
D. Experience with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1 and Level 2 compliance initiatives.
E. Experience in mining, manufacturing, industrial, energy, critical infrastructure, or highly regulated environments.
F. Experience supporting geographically distributed teams across the world
