About the Program
Are you a high school student with a passion for sports, leadership, and helping others? UFIT (University of Fitness Information and Technology) is offering a hands-on internship where you'll gain real-world experience in school sports coaching while supporting student wellness, teamwork, and active play.
What You'll Do
As a Sports Coaching Intern, you will:
- Assist lead coaches during PE and after-school sports programs
- Help facilitate warm-ups, drills, and games for elementary or middle school students
- Encourage positive play, teamwork, and inclusion during activities
- Learn and apply basic sports instruction and classroom management techniques
- Model respect, fairness, and enthusiasm on and off the field
What We're Looking For
- A passion for sports, fitness, or working with youth
- Dependable, respectful, and eager to learn
- Able to take direction and work as part of a team
- Strong communication and leadership potential
- Available at least 2 days a week after school (flexible hours)

Requirements
- Must be a current college student
- Be able to work between the hours of 7am-3pm
- Parental/guardian permission required
- TB test and background check
- Willingness to attend our paid orientation/training
