Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager to assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily clinical operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The Unit Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Oversee medical documentation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Implement and monitor infection control protocols within the unit.
  • Manage behavioral health needs, including memory care strategies for patients.
  • Conduct regular assessments of patient vital signs and overall health status.
  • Facilitate training for staff on IV insertion techniques and other critical care procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
