Henkels & McCoy currently seeking Laborers for our Telecom program in Indiana.

 

Current work locations are: Elkhart, Valparaiso, Lafayette, Kokomo, Marion


Responsibilities
  • Broom/Shovel work assisting crew in underground utility construction.
  • Assist crew members in trenching, digging, pulling and removing material.
  • Operate power equipment for demolition, concrete removal, grading, truck/dumpster loading, site clean-up and other general tasks using company and/or rental equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain condition of company equipment.
  • Loads and unload trucks and haul/hoist materials.
  • Participate in daily job briefing and safety meetings.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects; with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to wear all required personal safety equipment.
  • A valid drivers license is required.
  • Pre-Employment Drug Testing.
  • Must be available for overtime weekday and/or weekend.
  • Labor experience in utilities, preferred but not required.
