RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is partnering with a local client, and they are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Test Automation resource for a contract to hire position. This resource is required to be onsite 3 days a week to support the team. The manager is looking for someone to hit the ground running and who can independently own the QA process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and execute enterprise-wide test automation strategy
* Lead and mentor onshore/offshore QA teams and provide technical guidance
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, desktop, API, and performance testing
* Create test plans, test cases, and automation suites aligned with business and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum teams to ensure adequate test coverage and quality standards
* Execute automated and manual testing activities including functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing
* Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve issues
* Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, metrics, and reporting
* Support CI/CD implementation and quality gates within the software delivery pipeline
* Research, evaluate, and implement emerging testing technologies, including AI-assisted testing solutions
* Manage multiple testing initiatives while ensuring project timelines and quality objectives are achieved
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 8+ years of Quality Assurance and Test Automation experience
* 3+ years of leading QA Automation teams and projects
* Strong experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch
* Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
* Proficiency in C# with working knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
* Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools and practices
* The ideal candidate is a hands-on automation architect with strong leadership skills
* Good communication skills
* ISTQB Certification preferred
* Azure cloud certification preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
