Come join Findorff as an IT Co-op this Spring/Summer (January 2027 – August 2027) or Summer/Fall (May/June 2027 – December 2027).

What You’ll Do

The IT Co-op is based in Madison, WI and works alongside Findorff's Information Technology team. As an IT Co-op, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the technology systems that power our business and jobsites. This role is designed for students interested in information technology, cybersecurity, systems administration, and technical support. You'll work alongside experienced IT professionals while developing technical, analytical, and customer service skills.

  • Provide Technical Support: Assist team members with troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile devices, and basic network-related issues while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Support IT Operations: Help with user account management, workstation setup and deployment, software installs, equipment inventory, and technology onboarding tasks.
  • Assist with Infrastructure & Systems: Gain exposure to servers, cloud-based applications, networking, and enterprise systems while supporting ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
  • Contribute to Cybersecurity Efforts: Assist with security awareness initiatives, device compliance activities, access management, and other cybersecurity best practices.
  • Support Technology Projects: Participate in IT projects that improve efficiency, support business operations, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Learn IT Systems & Tools: Utilize platforms such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint management tools, and ticketing systems while building technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
