Job description

Overview
UW Credit Union is looking for someone who can keep our Member Service Operations Team product enhancements moving; removing roadblocks, sharpening our Agile practices, and making sure the work that supports our members' day-to-day banking experience gets delivered well, in a highly regulated financial services environment. And this isn't just a process role; it's a people role.
The Member Service Operations Agile Delivery Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering product enhancements that improve the employee and member experience. Working in partnership with teams across the enterprise, this position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of product changes while helping maintain a structured release management process that ensures enhancements are well planned, tested, communicated, and implemented. Serving as a Scrum Master for MSO product teams, this role also helps strengthen Agile practices by facilitating team events, coaching team members, and fostering continuous improvement. We're looking for someone who can build strong relationships, communicate effectively across teams, manage dependencies, drive work to successful outcomes and create alignment while helping others grow. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving how we deliver solutions, support our teams, and serve our members. If you lead with empathy, value partnership, and enjoy bringing people together to solve problems, we'd love to talk with you!
Responsibilities
  • Scrum Facilitation & Mentorship (30%): Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives). Coach and mentor the MSO team to develop deep Scrum expertise and Agile maturity while modeling inclusive leadership.
  • Workflow Management & Analysis (35%): Administer work management platforms (Azure DevOps/Microsoft Planner) to ensure end-to-end traceability. Track, analyze, and report on team metrics (velocity, flow, predictability) and roadmap progress to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination (25%): Serve as a high-level liaison between MSO and IT, Risk, Compliance, and QA. Represent MSO in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and coordinate end-to-end release management, including UAT cycles and delivery communications.
  • Continuous Growth (10%): Lead without direct authority as a servant leader and collaborative partner. Lead change initiatives and model adaptability as MSO's product portfolio evolves.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline. (Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent) is required. SAFe Agilist (SA) or Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) is preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery role supporting technology or product teams.
  • 2-3 years of proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar platforms, including dashboard construction.
  • 2-3 years of experience facilitating Agile delivery and cross-functional project coordination.
  • Experience in financial services or a regulated industry is preferred.

Skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex info to all levels; skilled in leading through influence and trust; strong organizational skills for managing concurrent workstreams.
