Job description

Position: Mortgage Loan Processor Location: Bay Shore, NY


Jet Direct Mortgage is looking for experienced and ambitious Mortgage Loan Processor to join our fast paced, goal oriented and supportive environment.


Here is what we are looking for:


Review initial loan approval and work with borrower to gather appropriate documentation


Collect all required documentation for the loan package


Create a loan submission package for the Underwriting department


Submit files to assigned Underwriter


Satisfy all conditions when received from Underwriter


Communicate with other professionals, including attorneys, county clerks and title companies




Qualifications:


10+ years processing residential mortgage loans (FHA, VA, Conventional/ Purchase, Refinance) under various programs in a quality consistent with all company policies and procedures as well as meeting all government and regulatory requirements


Utilize in house technical systems and programs such as Encompass


Thorough working knowledge of underwriting policies, compliance, and procedures


Excellent written and oral communication skills


Strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills
