Job description

CATERING CULINARY STAFF
Job Number: 191
Salary: $18.40
Department: Catering
Days/Hours:
10-15 hrs/wk, Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 7:00pm; Occasionally, Saturday and Sunday
Duties:
Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other various equipment for the Commissary and Catering departments of UCLA Restaurants; Deep cleaning of Commissary kitchen on a regular basis. Also, preparing of food for the mentioned departments. Food experience is a plus, but hands on training by culinary staff on basic cooking skills in team oriented environment is included.
Requirements:
Able to follow specific instructions regarding kitchen. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to lift and carry at least 50lbs. Must work commencement weekend.
Note:
Employees are not allowed to accept tips.
